The beauty of kiln-formed glass

The majority of kiln-formed glass is made using pre-coloured glass. Sarah's work displays her skill in the lesser-known art of glass enamel, which she uses in a painterly fashion.

Each piece is a work of art. Her work expresses her delight in water and light, fish, natural forms and patterns. The sea blues, viridians and delicate turquoises of her work are a joy in any domestic setting.

Recently she has been combining her skills in glass and textiles to make jewellery and frames in glass with woven threads of silver wire. Re-discovering her love of painting she has used all her skils together to create panels and pictures in glass.
